Chinese Characters Test app for iPhone and iPad

If you want to find out approximately how many Chinese characters you currently know you can use this test to find out. The test is based on real native audio rather than pinyin so this is not for total beginners.

Features:

- Choose between 24 and 96 questions, the more questions the more accurate the result
- native Chinese speaker audio
- difficulty settings from 1000 to 6000 character range, all with full audio
- choose both the meaning and the pronunciation of the character to prove you know it fully

Note: you need to have listened to real Chinese speakers to become accustomed to the sounds and be able to recognise the pronunciation from audio alone to pass this text. If your listening is only basic and you still need pinyin then this test is not for you.
